These sketches by Fred Marsh and Barbara Gray are of The Australian Botanic Garden, Mount Annan. They hope to make it to the Great Garden Sketchabout next Saturday at the Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney.
Fred Marsh used watercolour, pen and gouache to create the above sketch.
Barbara Gray used ink to create this sketch.
They are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThese are both wonderful sketches. I feel like I am standing looking over a vista in Freds painting. And I love the looseness and inkyness (is that a word? ) of Barbara's. I hope we get to see them and their drawings next Saturday !
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments Colette and Alissa. There is a lot of variety in the viewpoint at Mount Annan with some exceptional long distance vistas & beautiful light towards the days end. Hope the weather holds up for next Saturday.
